woah, the cider is still bubbling like crazy. Have you tried it yet? Why are pests to pretty? That's a really cool caterpillar. But not good, keep them away from your eggplants!! They make sphinx moths, I didn't know that. You need chickens. I wonder whether chickens would eat them?
the pic of the apple cider is from when you were around. Tim already finish one bottle. I will take a picture of the other half empty bottle in the fridge hah. It turned very good. I saw the droppings in the eggplant! I did not know they like eggplants too :-( I just removed them from the plant and put them away (on the other side of the road where I have pots of roses. I thought a bird would come for it.
